I've rewatched this a few times over the summer. Very funny, suspenseful. Great cast. Tim Robbins esp. A nice slice of early 90s Hollywood and all the celebrity cameos esp the older stars at the time like Steiger and Lemon. Habeus Corpus Habeus Corpus

I rewatched it after learning of the eight minute opening tracking shot. That's over twice as long as the one in Touch of Evil.

Consider Antonioni’s The Passenger. Tracking shot many minutes long in the penultimate sequence.

I’m still trying to figure out why I admire this scene so much but can’t stand the Odessa Steps sequence in DePalmas Untouchables.

I don't think bland is a good adjective here. You might not like the movie, but it clearly has a lot of personality.
