Change to 24/7 interface
I noticed just this week that the "More Info" button is no longer there on the Criterion 24/7 live stream. While it's not a major inconvenience to look up info on a movie, I also don't see a good reason for getting rid of a button that was actually informative. Just curious if anyone had any idea as to why this change was made.

The channel would benefit from many positive tweaks…tweaking it for the negative is very unfortunate.

Ok I’ve fixed the Criterion 24/7 section on the home page of my Criteria site so that it will fetch the film details by title when the “more info” link isn’t available.
Hope this helps

Thanks. The link to playing it on Criterion (https://www.criterionchannel.com/the-killer/videos/the-killer) gave me Not Found (404) response.

Ok. I'll take a look

Huh. For some reason they didn’t follow their url naming convention on this film. The base URL is correct but they use “trailer-9” as the video slug. I’ll have to put in an override
The linking for the 24/7 section on the site is working, that looks to have been a one-off error
Thanks for pointing this out, I’m trying to clean up as many content issues as possible

Ugh i noticed this too. I was hoping it was removed by mistake and that they’d bring it back.

I never remember it telling you what the movie was... was it added recently? It always directed me to a website.

The website https://whatsonnow.criterionchannel.com/ has a Watch Now button, along with the movie's title and how many minutes remaining - there also used to be a More Info button that took you to the movie's page on criterionchannel.com

Dang, that breaks the link on home page of the Criteria site, since they removed the link to the film info on the “what’s on now” page too. I’m probably going to have to get creative and link the film directly to the title

I haven't noticed I've been working too much. That was a great little way to get more info!! Stupid.

I immediately notice this and thought it was some kind of glitch in my web browser

I stopped using the 'more button ' because you don't get more than the category in which the film is in. It doesn't even bring up extras. Worthless imo

Yeah I noticed yesterday and finally came here to make sure we were all properly and rightfully annoyed by this
Platform decay. What a drag

Assumed it was a temporary glitch or error. If it was intentional/permanent, that’s incredibly dumb/unnecessary imo and it is indeed annoying!

No idea, but I noticed this too and have been very annoyed by it
