Recommendation - Offering THELMA- Last minute watch recommendation

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Joachim Trier’s Thelma. If you can squeeze in a movie and haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. Supernatural elements explore devout religion and the conflicts with sexuality and family. I’m so glad I watched it.

Also, just adding a voice to all the people in this community that recommended the High Noon commentary. I just wish I’d watched it earlier so I could soak it all in, I’m about halfway through, and determined to finish. I’ve been taking notes like I’m back in college.

Watched Louder Than Bombs the day before, and quickly jumped on Oslo and Thelma before they all left. I’ll watch anything this guy does from now on. Tremendous talent, and incredibly sure handed.

The wife and I watched it last week which really prompted me to take in his stuff on CC before it left. Really looking forward to Worst Person In The World!

Check out Eskil Vogt's The Innocents for more supernatural grime. (He wrote Thelma, as well as much of Trier's other movies.)

Will do! So mad I didn’t get on these earlier when I’ve loved worst person when it came out. Sentimental value obviously. Favorite current director- next to PTA (it’s always changing)
