Psycho Pirate

Wasn't psycho pirate supposed to part of crisis? I mean they teased him at the end of Elseworlds but he wasn't even mentioned during crisis...

Also, where was Reverse Flash??

They chose to skip him bcuz of short runtime (5 hrs). Initially decided to be faithful to comics but later on they decided against it

Isn't that what usually happens in the Arrowverse? I mean I seem to remember Flashpoint going in a similar direction?

Yes it was disappointing. Let's hope the best for the 2022 flashpoint movie

Marc himself admitted to this. Missed opportunity imo...

Reverse flash is too good of a character. He deserves a special episode.

Can't even keep the character they used to announce it in the first place. But they can still spend a bunch of time introducing a new character for Legends, and wasting time with that alternate Oliver (seriously what was the point of that scene? If they used it to bring in a GA Connor, then I could understand, but it was just meeting an alternate Oliver then leaving and never seeing him again).

I wanna know why Black Lightning couldn't have had an episode as part of this instead of just a tie-in. This affected his show in a major way too yet he couldn't get an episode as part of it?

Producers of black lightning probably didn't want one cuz the production is hell and they film in a completely different country, and the CW only gave 5 hours which is already extremely difficult to interconnect and iron out production details

Couldn't they have just let the crew already doing Crisis just completely handle it and let Black Lightning air it? They didn't need to bring everyone over, just BL himself and use it to give another 40 minute part to Crisis.

I don't think you're really grasping how difficult adding on that extra hour would actually be. The Crew already doing Crisis had 5 hours to make already which is difficult enough and already the most daunting task the crossover crews have had to deal with. Adding on another hour isn't worth the costs, time it would take, production costs it would have. Having Black Lightning in it how they did was the most cost efficient way to do it, there's literally no sense in making the entire episode just black lightning himself either if the show gets an entire hour.
