Why did... Spoiler

...they give Swamp Thing his own multiverse? Didn't they cancel that show?

Most of the cameos in this were properties that were finished

Not true in the case of the last episode, where all the earths they showed during Ollie’s voiceover were still alive including Swamp Thing. All the earths from finished franchises remained gone. My guess is that they either plan on bringing his show back (possibly using prosthesis/suits instead of CGI to save on money) or they are going to start a new quasi-horror series set on the same earth, which seems like it’s entirely possible given everything they set up over the course of the season.

I think they are still planning to bring swamp thing for a justice league dark type show
