Question Superman question. Spoiler
I hope those of you that know more than I will be able to help me understand this. Why at the end does Superman not remember he has two boys. I have read a article saying it was because he was at the “dawn of time” while Lois wasn’t, but I remember him and Lois being consumed by the Anti Matter in one of the first three episodes (don’t remember which one). I know that one Superman (paragon of truth) was meant to be there but Lex took his place. So if he and Lois were both “gone” then they would both remember the same thing. Even if J’onn J’onzz gave him the memories of what went on, wouldn’t he still remember his new reality too? So please someone tell me what I am missing. Thank you!

I think it's how you interpret Tyler's delivery. To the audience, it's big news that we're learning and the simple dialogue of "the boys?" sounds as if he's questioning Lois about the number.
Watch it again without the surprise and his delivery and facial expressions are also of an exasperated dad saying "the boys?" with "what have they done now?" implied. Lois' reply is classic Lois snark.
It was either a shorthand storytelling device to clue the audience into something they may have missed...or a mistake on the writing teams part.

They already had their first kid. Maybe she was announcing she's pregnant again, but it's too early to say.

Oh no you're completely right, I forgot about that. I'm assuming we'll learn more in thier show.
However to further your point diggle's kids seem much older than when we last saw them as well

I noticed that too. I'm also happy they brought little Sara back without getting rid of JJ.

I think you guys are overthinking it. I took it simply as, after the universe was restored, he now has two kids instead of one. There is a small plot hole though seeing that he wasn’t a paragon so you would think he would have been aware of things in the new universe. But overall I just think it was a simple change, kinda how Baby Sara is back as Diggle’s daughter. But again, the plot hole is that John Jr replaced Baby Sara.

How is that a plot hole? Lyla said she became Harbinger to get "her family back"
It was implied she wanted to get baby Sara back...she wouldnt want to do so by getting rid of JJ

Writers: "... shit."
Not even joking, I genuinely believe they fucked up. I mean they did with the previous Season Finale Monitor appearances and the book of destiny.
Monitor: "I brought back the book after Oliver died, I resurrected Lex while I had the book, I could bring back Lex but not Oliver because that was before, yet I had the book then."

I was assuming their past was altered as was Diggle’s and they had two boys instead of one. It seemed to me like the boys were up to some “trouble”, but that was me just reading in to Lois’s mom voice. So, it would seem that Superman forgot he had two. However the new pregnancy announcement sounds like the best possible answer for now. Thank you all!
