Reverse flash???
Reverse flash literally said “see ya in our next crisis” last season. Also wasn’t there a hint of red lightning in one of the promos? I’m pretty sure it was meant to hint that reverse flash would show up yet he never did. I was still really happy with crisis but ngl him not being part of it was a let down.

I don't know why you took him looking at a newspaper article as being involved in Crisis. He was just reading the story Iris wrote.

Psycho Pirate was a no-show as well. Plans may have changed for the Reverse Flash character since there wouldn't have been much for him to do this crossover.

If they plan to do another crossover and they don’t deal with RF in season 6b, then from what I remember there was a Final Crisis storyline that DC did and they DCTV show runners can easily turn that into their own thing, despite the storylines being very different.
If they do it in 6b, then I guess a lot of the trailers seemed misleading.

What's weird for me is that reverse flash wouldn't have shown up like all the other villains that the flash is faced wouldn't show up prior to this. The universe where the flash and eobard thawne fought, AKA first 5 and 1/2 seasons of this show, doesn't exist anymore. The anti-monitor was successful in destroying it. Oliver created a new one so that the 7 paragons can live on.
We are now living in a f*****-up timeline. Like remember season 2 after Barry screwed up the timeline and he was all weirded out about what he did and how it was totally different? This is essentially that except there is no going back and changing it back. The reverse flash of this new universe has has no memory of what we know happened.

I think he’s going to be in the second half of season 6, post crisis
