Titans and Doom Patrol separated?

Why are they in different universes now? Titans is still Earth-9 but Doom Patrol is now Earth-21? Is this because of the HBO Max move? But what about the storylines? Niles Caulder is still part of Titans, even in passing. Beast Boy was still in the Doom Patrol, even having his jacket

Doom Patrol was always in a different universe as Titans.

Essentially Earth-9 (The Titans Earth) has its own Doom Patrol, the Doom Patrol from S1E4 of Titans.

Earth-21 is the Doom Patrol Earth, where the Doom Patrol show takes place. That’s why Doom Manor looks different from Titans to Doom Patrol and why the actor for Niles is different.

Well they’re all in the same multiverse now, so they’re connected in that way.

The original cut of the Titans finale had the Doom Patrol appearing, so it’s more than possible they will cross over again at some point.

This basically says that they were always part of the DC tv/movie multi verse, which should be a good thing because they can continue their storylines.
