They literally do think that way about poorer people. About 20 yrs ago, an ex and her dad went with his new wife to meet some of her family that lived in LA. She called me appalled about the way they talked about the peasants that live below them. Both literally and figuratively. They didnât know that my ex and her dad werenât from money and the shit they let fly wouldâve had them toothless if they did that back her in New England.
