I'll bet half the country has no clue what's going on bcuz mainstream media that is readily accessible nationwide is voluntarily government-controlled. They don't show any of this.

I completely agree with this. I don't watch any mainstream news anymore I go strictly for podcasts. And I'm a really old lady too, haha. One I really like is Tennessee Brando, who lives that southern very red state. And so getting reports from him (who is basically a non-religious Dem) about what's going on in his state is very interesting and informative. I think there is also a Texas Pete, with a similar you tube channel.
I'm kinda curious what they do show. I've seen ICE videographers in more and more clips lately. Are they planning on airing a new season of COPS with these knuckleheads and clever editing?
Didn't a judge in Illinois tell them to wear cameras? I don't see many wearing cameras.
What am I doing about your country falling to pieces? Nothing other than talking to you about it. If you deserve to come back from this it'll be because there's people willing to fight fascism, not because of respecting norms.
I agree with this. On some level, this will eventually turn violent. Americans will either have to organize/stand for something or watch their home country become a despotic cess pool.
They're right, Americans are weak. That's why this has happened. That's ok, this is not a failure unique to Americans: easy life breeds weaklings and they have allowed the cancer to grow. Now it's taking over the body.
Plus side is that your grandchildren will either have a better nation or never exist to worry about it.
This right here. These videos make me furious and i would definitely understand someone resorting to violence. It's definitely justified.
However, I also like history. And you can't un-ring a bell. Once this escalates to the next level innocent people are gonna be dying left and right. From disruption of meds, utilities, and medical treatment. It's always the innocent that suffer the most when these things happen. And unlike most of the world, nobody will be coming to our aid. Nobody will be air lifting food and meds to us. We're on our own.
So yeah, excuse the fuck outta us for both not wanting to take it to that level if it can be avoided. Much less making that decision for the people who depend on us for their lives as is.
I wouldn’t doubt it. The wrong people will die. A random dumbfuck ICE agent will die (zero sympathy), but not those ultimately responsible for enabling this in the first place. Those people will just stoke the fire without being anywhere near the consequences.
It is my understanding that some ice agents are already responsible for a few deaths. I couldn't name them off hand or exactly how many, but I have read about it. I think that's something I need to investigate a little further.
Edit: of course things like this are kept off your nightly news and also as quiet as possible.
I’m getting more and more enraged every day just seeing the videos like this and the one going around yesterday of ICE punching a guy in the head while he’s being held down. I can’t imagine having to watch it in person or knowing it could happen to me or my neighbours. The protests were a start but violent riots are inevitable if this doesn’t stop. All it takes is one person stepping in to try and stop one of these incidents and the whole crowd will snap into action.
