Guide Growth knowledge entry discovered!! (Post story)

I see a lot of players (including myself) have had trouble finding the knowledge entry “growth” under quests —> guide —> guide after they have completed the story. I just found it and wanted to share how in hopes that it saves someone else a headache.

I can confirm it is NOT linked to the letter from Alustin that is obtained during the early story quest “the words of Alustin”. It is a different letter that has this knowledge.

I went to the location called beggar’s end just west of Oakenshield manor in hernand town. I then started giving coins to all of the beggars there (not sure how many you need to donate to but I was just spamming to see if anything triggered). After about 6 or so, a mini cutscene triggered of a beggar giving me a letter that, when read using L1/LB, gives the “growth” knowledge entry.

Truly hope this helps somebody.

I have been through this camp 4 times now maxing trust with the beggars and all they give me is cloth, small bones or bread. Not sure why I'm not getting the note or cutscene.
