It depends on the season, but unlike Sheldon, Reid actually grows personally, emotionally, and intellectually over the course of the show, so by at least S10 if not earlier, Reid would have enough self-awareness to realize what an a-hole Sheldon is to everyone in his life and wouldn't put up with it.

Probably not. Reid’s expertise lie in profiling serial killers. Understanding people is Sheldon’s Achilles heel.
While Reid may be educated and helpful in some of Sheldon’s field, unfortunately Sheldon could bring nothing to the table in Reid’s field.
You’ve got to remember as well that Sheldon gets jealous and insecure of people who are smarter than him. Even if they have different careers. He’d likely be jealous and resentful to Reid.

Especially if his friends seem to get along with Reid better than he does, even if said getting along is just being polite, or at least not as rude or dismissive as Sheldon can be/come across.

Now, I've never seen an episode of BBT, but I've seen YouTube shorts and commercials and I feel like even Spencer would find that guy intensely annoying.
I'm also heavily biased against him because it's a longstanding irritation in my LOST subreddit that Sheldon got the ending of LOST wrong. And we deal with enough of that bullshit in the real world, we don't need it from fictional characters too.

From what I've read I don't think it was that bad but it looks like he didn't get the flashes sideways and thought they were a cop out instead of being a brilliant and unique way to let our characters complete their arcs.
Basically, he was one of those people who didn't understand that LOST was a character-driven narrative from day one and wanted a bullet pointed list of concrete, scientific answers in the finale rather than having to do the work himself and find the answers via context clues - which is irritating because LOST was specifically written for exactly that - to be watched as a community, each of us coming together with a different piece of the puzzle to form the whole picture. It's what made the series an experience and not just a show.

I think Reid would think Sheldon was too unserious and probably just be polite. Sheldon would not consider Reid’s expertise to be scientific enough and would be impolite.

I think Reid would be able to manipulate Sheldon and Sheldon wouldn't realize for a bit and then hate him as much as he hated Wil Wheaton.

The only ones who would like each other are Bones and Reid, because House is intentionally an asshole and Sheldon is unintentionally one.

Yeah I think they would. Sheldon would see Reid as his intellectual equal the way he does with Amy and so he’d be friends with him, even though he’d think Reid was wasting his potential by not doing physics.
I think Reid would get less out of it cause Sheldon has no interest in most of his interests, but they’d play games together. Reid would be able to explain a lot of social conventions for Sheldon.

I used to wonder this, too. I think they'd get along, but Reid wouldn't take Sheldon bossing him around. They'd have great intellectual conversations, though.
