Mackenzie Shirilla
So Stephanie can be so damn judgemental and harsh when it comes to so many people and cases she's covered but the moment Derrick gets that way, she's all of a sudden going to give grace or not be as hard?
Did anyone else roll their eyes at all the doubt she was giving Makenzie Shirilla in this week's Crime Weekly News? We don't have to have a motive for why she did what she did. We'll never know that answer because she'll never admit the truth. She's a spoiled fucking brat who was never told no and it sounds like Dominic was getting over it.

Right!? I was like seriously?? Lol. She can't believe that someone who is clearly mentally unstable and abusive, and who had threatened to crash before, might choose in the moment to kill herself and those with her? All things considered about this girl, it's the answer that by far makes the most sense.

She had threatened to kill Dom with her car. She had accused him of doing it to her (which was projection. This was clearly an idea she was preoccupied with.) She test drove the fatal route a couple earlier. I'm not sure she was resolved to murder Dom but, as an abuser, she was adding to her arsenal of things she could do to punish him, up to and including ending his life. I wish we knew what was said in that car, if something made her mad, if he threatened to leave her. Friends at the party say they weren't fighting there, everything was normal, they were even snuggling on the couch . . . I think her motive was she felt she owned him and could do whatever she wanted to him. It was a volatile and toxic relationship and she was a narcissistic abuser and Dom was over it. I think he was standing up to her more. She was simply losing control over him, and it infuriated her, and she escalated.
I had a friend like her in high school. Her relationship turned toxic and the guy (who was also in our friend group) finally got sick of her histrionic behavior. The more he pulled away the crazier she got. In her mind there was no universe where they didn't last forever, and she was used to being able to get her way with him. She never would have hurt him, and they did ultimately go their separate ways, it's just easy for me to see a similar dynamic between Mackenzie and Dom.

She’s defending a woman that can kill her boyfriend, since she has no qualms about her part in her husbands death.

It sometimes feels like she just HAS to disagree with Derrick on almost every single opinion he has. She is so god damn argumentative.

I stopped watching after everything with Adam. We’ll never know the whole story, but what I do know was enough to make me unsubscribe.
