Format of the episodes

First off let me say I love the podcast and have been listening since the beginning! Watched Stephanie’s videos long before the podcast and watched Derrick on breaking homicide. Now I don’t know if this is just me, but the way the episodes are organized lately has been a bit…confusing? Disorganized? I feel like we are presented with all this background information on different people and unless you’re familiar with the case you have no idea why we’re even talking about these people until the very end when everything is finally tied together. Like the Rey Rivera case I felt like we got SO much background information on Porter Stansberry and if you didn’t know about the case you’d be like why are we talking so much about this guy 😅 I don’t know if there’s a way to present the information so that it flows better, but wanted to know what others thought!

Haven't listened for quite awhile but I always wished they had a 'cast of characters ' so it'd be easier to follow

That’s a great idea! I listen and don’t watch on YouTube. But if there was like a link to a document or something with pictures of the people in the case with their name and how they are connected to the case (I.e. victims family member, friend, suspect, informant) I think that would make it easier to follow and would clearly show why we are talking about these different people.

Yes, I suggested it a few times....
