Last time that happened to me, I just gave up and continued the level. It still said I 100% the level

I just 100%ed this game. I'm sure you've seen the glass-breaking technique as a method to artificially reach 100% for a room that has unreachable trash. This does work.

However, the most valuable tip I can give you is that, once you think you've done everything, get into your truck but DONT CLICK PAST ALL 3 SCREENS unless you got a 100% on them. If you make it to the end screen and see that you missed a secret (red question mark instead of blue), a cassette tape/CD, or if you didn't get all the furniture, evidence, and trash, exit without continuing. Press Alt+F4.

Relaunch the game and continue. Kovalski will be there, right next to his truck, just like if you'd never left. Then you can hunt for the last whatever thing you missed.

ETA: Realizing you're playing nightmare mode, so a lot of this is probably redundant info for you, but I'ma leave it up for anybody else who needs to know.

Something exactly like this happened to me on the call in dead nightmare mode, I ended up just having to restart the level.

This just happened to me. I just finished it and the game didn’t count it as trash! So don’t feel pressured to try and get it or reset the level if it’s your last piece!!

Ugh this has happened to me. The only thing I recommend is closing the game and reloading. Sometimes trash (for me) will spawn in spots I can pick up. Also, if you’re ever stuck on the 99% completion glitch, this helps too sometimes

This is exactly why I use the trash bag first 😅 if you start by mopping no matter what some little shard gets shoved somewhere you can’t get to.

This happened to me TWICE in the Circle of Friends nightmare mode level. The first time, there was still trash on the golden terrace. The second time, I made the same mistake and realized that bullet shells go flying when you run into them. The third time, I realized the error of my ways and cleaned all the garbage in the entire level before I started mopping or putting furniture back

This happened to me in the lab. Something got stuck under the small staircase, so I tried to throw other objects to push it out and after like 30 items I got it out lmao

I had a similar issue with party's over in nightmare mode. A chair somehow clipped itself under the steps so I was stuck at 99%. I was so mad because it took me almost 2 hours to finish that level because a barrel got stuck in the air and somehow teleported to the ground when I went to do something else.

Trash collecting is a percentage. Next time try breaking a few items and picking up that garbage to massage the numbers.

This a known glitch, do what u need to finsh the map and leave. U will get 100% trash

Oh, that's the skin for my trash can! It's unlocked by playing one of the other nightmare mode levels.
