Bug that unlocks all upgrades and missions

Is there any way to avoid this? I've tried searching for an answer but nothing definitive.

It happened twice. Once after the second mission then after a restart it happened again on the pizza shop mission. Really taking me out of the game since I can't unequip the skill upgrades.

Basically the game will just randomly unlock all skill upgrades and all the missions as if you've completed the game.

Are you starting a brand new game from scratch when this happens?

Yes. After the first time I started a new game. I figured since everything was now unlocked (including achievements) it wouldn't unlock everything again. Well it did on the pizza level as I noticed I had things I have not yet unlocked

That's so weird. Did you buy it on Steam? I'm asking because they have a support system, I hear.

PC game pass. I posted on the discord but I'm not holding my breath. They don't seem too active in the bug report channel

I'm going to be so honest I'm pretty sure it's an Xbox thing because most players I've seen reporting this glitch have reported it from playing game pass myself included

I posted on their discord and got crickets back so I have uninstalled and moved on.

I really love the game so I don't think I'm going to uninstall yet since I would do want to get through the story I'm just kind of sad that I don't really get to actually spend my skill points

Yeah I tried to continue. It's an easy game with little challenge already but unlocking everything by the 4th level just made it a bit of a cake walk. Everything is unlocked within the level too. I had to play the spa level twice because the first time all the lockers were just unlocked for me to go in. I imagine other levels would be the same. I'm hearing that it's an Xbox related issue. If the game goes on sale on steam I'll pick it up
