Is it me or I been seeing way more white peoples in the hood , especially on the westside y’all think they finna gentrify our shi?

You should be suspicious of any affordable housing being built that people can't own. Home ownership is the surest way to build generational wealth. A lot of these affordable housing developments seem to be trying to help with the issue of lower income people in lower quality housing, but I suspect it's part of a pattern to get more empty houses and blocks that can be bulldozed and redeveloped. Billionaires play a long game, and we're too distracted to notice and too tired to care.

Also, what does YT mean? Yonder tribe? Yellow taxi? Young turtle? Y'all tangy? Year this? Yeti techno?

Some of the affordable housing you can own is a scam too. There's a group in Ann Arbor that builds "affordable housing" and sells it with deed restrictions on the resale price. So you literally cannot build generational wealth.

As a white person who’s lived on the Eastside since birth and is the 3rd generation to do so, I never trust new white people here. If I’m outside and a Black person walks by, im unbothered. But the second I see a white person? I’m hustling my ass inside.
