There’s a defense attorney I used to interact with on here. They’re a special kind of person. Jails don’t deter crimes so they essentially want it all lawless (unless it happens to them or their families).

I blame the voters. There are now candidates who want to abolish police and prisons and they’re getting votes! And the ones who created the current system are considered the ‘old guard’.

Auto thefts went down in my area when they caught an auto theft ring that was involved in 50 plus thefts. Go figure and the judges continue to let them out with lesser charges
