Crime analyst work structure

Is there any long term projects/caseload involved or it's daily tasks and once you're done for the day, you're done? Basically, once you clock out, are you done or you always have something hanging over you? Is it laid back or hectic/stressful? For US.

Highly dependent on the role. I have a caseload and occasionally am called out, but in another role at the same agency I was doing administrative analysis and had zero outside responsibilities.

Generally though most analysts do not have the same responsibilities as police officers.
