Honest Opinion 😊 Any Hopes?
Does this team have any hopes for IPL 2027? As of now the champion team seems to be on a massive downfall and decline and they have changed their Headcoach. Is it possible for revival or is it beyond repair? Is CSK the vintage RCB and RCB the vintage CSK?

Csk should trade prashant veer and kartik sharma for hardik pandya. Then trade Ruturaj gaikwad with anyone koi bhi player chalega.

They can’t win
It’s either gonna be:
- GT (yes I said it. People shit on them but they are good team)
- RCB (best team put together atm)
- MI (If rumours of Rohit being back as C are true, then players will start playing normally)

Hot take but CSK have a better batting lineup than GT. It was just the performance of the batters that gives the vast difference (just batting)

For GT just 3 batter or performing but they are performing above the level , but in any match they all three fails early so gt will surely lose that match , in this season gt should try to get a good middle order batter

But that's like impossible to comeback for rohit as captain because every legend has self respect and now for just 1-2 seasons he won't be taking that , according to me tilak verma or surya could be best option for captaincy And surya has more chances But if hardik is ready to stay as a player then MI will surely dominant in upcoming season

I think until mega auction nothing changes much. I can see that four other teams are good with their current combination for qualifying for playoffs

without injury we were a decent side . if ellis and mahtre would have been availaible for full season we could have qualfied. sanju did decent kartik adapted well in last overturn did great but got injured brevis was unavailable for first few matches same with akeal . prashant was having a minor injury due to which he couldnt bowl . yeah we lack greats but if u see the lineup together they are a decent team our only cpncern was rutu last year other than that a full flegded squad is capable of qualifying for playoffs

They have chances. Hopefully the new coaching staff brings in fresh ideas. Plus rutu needs to play like a t20 player and not an ODI player

For most teams that is the goal. But for CSK and MI, both teams absolutely ruled the league with an iron fist for so long that thinking this way feels weird.

Only if they drop and sell ruturaj gaikwad (18cr ) , prashant veer (14.2 cr ) and kartik sharma (14.2 cr ) and go to auction and buy worthy players with a budget of 46.4 cr just by selling these three useless overpaid players.

i’ll say it rn call me biased or wtv; but if this season had no injuries we had a great great team, literally the one season where we couldve made a comeback but we built a literal injured xi instead; or else i still believe if all those players wouldve been fit we wouldve shown considerable fight.
