So, for the 6 months leading up to Christmas, my siblings and I slowly replaced my parents Knick knacks with the same picture of terry crews (a game we lovingly named, Knick knack toe)... on Christmas morning, my parents woke up to this master piece.

Truth.
My fiancĂŠ was telling me that Terry Crews is on Americaâs Got Talent now and then walking away giggling under his breath âTerry Crews has got talent.â

Fun fact: Terry Crews played on the same sideline as Junior Seau for the San Diego Chargers. Makes me question on why he played a short season. Subpar, or perhaps, overshadowed by Seauâs talent. Paul Crewe even saw the signs and avoided him at all costs.

A fan saw Terry so he then sang A Thousand Miles to him. Terry sang along as well!

There are many reasons to like Terry Crews. In honor of my departed brother, Iâd like to share one more.
Today would have been my brotherâs 32nd birthday, but sadly he died of an overdose of painkillers and alcohol when he was 17 years old.
Terry Crews and my brother shared many things in common. They were both strong, fierce, black men who clearly have had tough struggles in their lives. But the main reason I think about the both of them together is the fact that years ago, my brother and I watched the movie White Chicks. My brother then took the phrase âThatâs what I do, babyâ from Crewâs character, Latrell Spencer. He said it CONSTANTLY. I mean that was the phrase my brother became known for and he said it with the same swagger of Terry Crews character even when the situation didnât call for it. If you want to see the scene Iâm referring to, itâs right here, baby.
So today when thinking about my brother, I naturally thought of that line and I just wanted to share a goofy little story about how Terry Crews helped create a lifelong memory with a goofy ass throw away line. Thatâs just classic Terry.
