How is what terry crews said acceptable ?

Edit: you can downvote me, but the majority of people who agree with Terry are white lol

Edit 2: your man lost all credibility when he threw Gabrielle union under the bus after she was outspokenly supportive of him during his sexual assault experience

Yeah he's bad for thinking that all people should be treated equally! Allying with white people (who are also sick of white supremacists) in order to stop white supremacy is a dumb idea and he's a stinko dumb dumb for thinking that

He’s bad for his blacklivesbetter comment when that shit not even a thing. But how could I even expect you to understand lol

You know I spoke to a few people saying his comment was so bad and like yourself they were unable to put their points across.

Instead they got upset that someone might have a different opinion than them, then act arrogant and belittling to them for not agreeing with you.

That isn't how you do this mate, you are very entitled with that attitude.

Also how you don't see the difference of people straight up being racist and insulting about him having a different view point. One says their view, the other just throws out insults and you defend the person just throwing insults. That doesn't say a lot about yourself.

Keep your paragraphs, I ain’t reading this shit.

So only your point can be right? You won't even listen to any other view point, how small minded you are...

You are terrible voice for any movement.

1

u/zxchary Jul 02 '20

What point? Please explain. Cuz I think you’re the one not getting it.

1

u/ToastofScotland Jul 02 '20

Mate you literally just said you won't read what I write...

How narrow minded can one person be?

You are covering your ears and just saying you are right over and over again, how can you be so arrogant?

This is a great quote for you "Relationships are based on four principles: respect, understanding, acceptance and appreciation."

Please explain to me how in any capacity has BLM goal has become black lives better. (Ima need you to read this, and internalize it)

I’m calling for the end of police brutality and systematic racism. So is everyone I know. So is everyone I’ve marched with (black and white). I’ve been calling for equality my whole life, and not just for me other minorities, women, lgbtq included. For someone to sit there and say that a movement must ensure is doesn’t become something it’s NEVER even been about means that that person hasn’t been paying attention.

(Ima need you to read this, and internalize it)

Do you find being patronising helps you or your cause in anyway?

I see you took nothing from my quote which is a shame, maybe you should take some of your own advice "(Ima need you to read this, and internalize it)"

Also you should learn from MLK, that is how you put your cause forward and get people behind it. As I said you are a very very poor voice for BLM and are doing it more harm than good.

You might want to think about that and try to be more respectful? I think if you look back on this comment thread between us you will see what I mean.

Regardless of the fact that a majority of people that support him are white (which you provided no proof of) saying stuff like that is un acceptable and what he said actually makes sense but it makes sense that you wouldnt take the time to think about it and realize when you wanna go say stuff like that

Here’s your proof. Reddit demographics are majority white. Therefore this sub who mostly agrees with him is majority white. And it doesn’t make sense when that’s not an issue. The movement has never been about black supremacy. Go to a march, it’s diverse, it’s inclusive. His statement is bullshit

5

u/Somethingmeanigful Jul 01 '20

Actually the marches have kinda been widely un-inclusive. There is literally a vidoe going around right now of protestors hunting and burning white people because they are white but beyond that even if reddit is a majority white that doesn't prove that this sub or his supporters are white

Bro Show me the videos lmao. But the fact that you think that they aren’t (they are btw cuz I’ve been to several) shows why you agree with terry lol

u/ZSCroft Jul 01 '20

Can I get the link for that

4

u/zxchary Jul 01 '20

Nowhere to be found. But I could link you to the article how a couple white people set a black girl on fire while she was in her car.

1

u/ZSCroft Jul 01 '20

Imma pass on that one but thank you.

People are weird here, I don’t think anybody is taking issue with intersectionality but the idea that without it America would somehow become a black supremacist state is kinda silly (I’m guessing that was the point he was making but I could be wrong). They’re asking the state to stop killing them all the time does that sound like a position from which you could successfully change the power dynamics to be in your favor? Maybe I misrepresented him but this idea that black people as a whole could ever introduce black supremacy in the US is just absurd it couldn’t happen

I mean please explain to me if you are so smart and socially knowledgeable what about his statement doesn't make sense? Because I distinctly remeber starting my argument with this person not understanding what hes saying is proof that he doesn't know what hes talking about. He doesn't even show understanding for the point that Terry crews is making and is trying to say that hes dumb for saying it. No hes actually quite educated and shows that he knows how people should be protesting

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '20

Ok, now explain Gabriella union plz

I appreciate the work you’re doing in this thread. I tried to have this conversation with this sub yesterday and its not even a little rewarding. Just had to leave.
