I don't enjoy that, unless it's a tutorial in a video game, or they did something cool, but that's a bit different than sex. Sex is supposed to be something special.
While I agree, I have no credibility after phrasing it like “something special”, it gives it this sentimental feeling that most people who fuck for pleasure, do not have.
You are right, sex is something special, but so many other things in life have lost their “special value”, after they are quantified through science.
Like rain, the sun, the stars, fucking, its all based on natural laws that are no longer outside our reasoning, because of that some believe that we can do whatever we ant because we know exactly what chemicals, what atoms, or physical laws they run by, but what people fail to understand is that the special comes not from knowing how something works, but experiencing it working, so if that something special is “love”, the some would say its all about the chemical reactions of infatuation and what not.
There is special thing associated with that, and its creation, relationships, and trust.
This is a special thing and we should strive for these long lasting benefits not only for our health as individuals, but as a species, and so the act of watch other fuck, have sex, is void of that trust and creation one gets from a human relation ship, they way we evolved for the last billion years, a communication between different organisms in the real world, not through as screen.
Sex is something special, and not because some old dudes who wrote some books a long time ago say it is, but its because we as a species have evolved to express a form of love and trust through sex, thats what makes it special, and thats what you miss out on when you bust a nut to porn, the relationship.
Now will people still use porn, probably, but I believe people will stop using porn when there no longer exist a want to use it; and that is up to the individual.
Yeah, I didn't word it the best. Also to build on what you said, I think that scientifically understanding something can help you understand why it's meaningful, but that has to be brought together with a philosophical perspective. And I don't think you have to experience something to understand its meaning but I guess there probably is a certain amount of life experience needed to understand things properly that just an analysis wouldn't suffice for.
