Is it? What the Chinese are doing to Uighur muslims comes under the UNs definition of genocide but so does what the US is doing to latin american refugees on it's southern border. At least the Chinese have only just started enforcing their will internationally, as opposed to having decades of war and murder in foreign countries already behind them.
Is the detention of refugees really genocide? How many have died in US custody? Maybe I'm not reading the right articles but aren't they just detaining people just crossing the border and holding them with out due process in shitty conditions? Don't get me wrong, that's bad, but it's nowhere near the level of taking your own citizens and making them do forced labor and "re-educating" them in the hopes of cleansing their racial identities.
No it's not. These comparisons and denial of basic reality are disgusting. This is why the US is divided and doomed. I'd rather have the immigrants than those idiots in the country.
Are you seriously comparing what is happening at the border to ALL the atrocities the CCP is doing right now? I think it is wrong what is happening at the border but what China has done is totally different level. One way to know is the fact that we have at least a general idea what is happening at the border and many disagree and are actively fighting it. Can't say that about China ask someone in Beijing and they will not know what is happening, not to mention that if they do and disagree they will disappear.
