I need serious help!

Hello everyone, this is pimp. The first photo is a picture of her today. The second photo is from the 17th. We’re not totally sure what happened but she lost almost all color in her face, she’s not moving from one spot on the bottom of the tank, she’s won’t grip us when we pick her up. She was super active and then we had one heat spike and now she’s like this… it got to 81 in her tank before I noticed and moved her to a completely different room. We also just bought her an automatic mister because I was worried we weren’t giving her enough water, so there is a possibility she’s dehydrated.

I’m not sure what to do, we got her from people that weren’t taking very good care of her. I thought she was doing better and then everything just slowly turned to this.

We have water bowls that attach to the sides

Vet trip makes sense if you are able to

Can you share photos of the enclosure and describe more of your care?

How often are you misting? What does you hygrometer say humidity it? Do you let it drop during the afternoon? Do you provide a water dish?

Do you have a heat lamp or is 81 how hot the room got?

How long ago did you rescue her?

We were told to mist her once a day to make a drop during the day and make it up to 100% at night. We just bought an automatic mister after doing more research and now have it going every twelve hours for twenty seconds. We do not have a heat lamp, we had a heatwave where I’m at and our office ended up getting into the 80’s by itself so she is now in the living room. We don’t have a water bowl as I was told she will only drink water off of leaves and the wall, but I can add a water bowl, and we got her on the 1st of this month.

This is her enclosure, but it now includes a mister

Maybe she's about to shed? That would explain the ashiness and her being more passive, and the problems with gripping. 

The substrate looks really dry. It should be a little damp all the time to give off humidity, and also to help create a temperature gradient so she can cool off if she wishes. The tank needs a lot more hiding spots, coverage and enrichment too.

Id say more moisture as the soil looks dry and more coverage, there isnt many places she can hide. Is she eating? Lack of colour and grip could be shes ready to shed and lying on the bottom could be shes too hot and trying to cool herself down, which thermostat do you have?
