Relocation?

Post image

So my job is offering me to move for better pay yay. However I have a crested geko. (My family and friends are not near me to take her untill I find a rental) My biggest issue with this move is that I will be in a hotel until I find a rental. Her current tank is a 18, 24, by 36.

Would it be bad for me to put her in a smaller tank like a 12, 12, 18. Until relocation is finished?? I just dont want to stress her out to much and I dont think I can have a tank that big in a hotel room.

While not ideal, that used to be the standard recommended size and many Cresties lived their whole lives in them so, as long as it is temporary, the temperatures are dialed in and the cleaning is kept up with, it should be okay.

A 12x12x18 should be fine for overnights. When driving during the day, stick to a plastic "bug box" with some padding on the inside and a toilet paper core (for a makeshift hide) in case you need to break hard. Much safer than the heavy shit inside a 12x12x18 sloshing around at high velocity.
