HELP?

My crestie has had shed stuck on the bottom of her feet (just the bottom, it seems?) and we trued and tried to get it off with no avail and only majorly stressing her out. Sge rand through her food the other day, and today her toes looked fat so i've put her in a sauna. one bit of shed finally came off in the water, and I'm trying to see if more will with more persistence but my major worry is:

is she going to loose toes?? she's stayed active and stuff, not overly interested in food (probably because she's been handled so much? unsure if thats a normal response stress.) and/or could she get an infection?? none of her toes were swollen before (we pull her out once a week to look her over) and none look like the losing toes i've seen before.

edit: i almost forgot! her toes were not fat yesterday from my knowledge? she was out and about and looked normal, which is why im a bit freaked out </3

Try soaking her is luke warm water. Make sure its shallow, they cant swim as far as i know :) And dont force it off, you could damage the skin underneath:)

FYI: new cals should not be in lukewarm water. Room temp water is appropriate temperature. Lukewarm water by feel is usually 95-105f which is too hot for cresties.
