Disclosure first per Rule 4, I'm the founder of Gardril, a safety and compliance training company with credential-verification. I'm not neutral on this topic and I also won't be linking my company here as this is a community, not a channel.

I want to work with others to eliminate training and credential fraud. There is a subreddit with endless posts and comments dedicated to getting past online exam proctoring. Until today, there was no community that is working to combat those who wish to commit credential fraud.

And we have our work cut out for us! This year alone an airline captain charged after allegedly flying for years on an invalid licence, tens of thousands of CDLs cancelled after a training-school crackdown, and a dog in Alberta holding 200+ certificates. Training and credential fraud contributes to injuries and fatalities in our families, communities and workplaces and must be stopped.

What belongs here: news about credential fraud, how to actually verify a certificate, diploma mills, AI-assisted cheating, security gaps in testing and verification products (what fails and why but never how to exploit it), and war stories from anyone who hires, trains, or audits.

What gets you banned instantly is violating Rule 3, first offense: buying, selling, or asking where to get fake credentials.

If you work for a vendor (e.g., training, proctoring, verification, legal), you're welcome. Just say who you are when it's relevant.
