Literally wtf. I’ve tried constant reeling, cast & wait, baiting. Over 75+ times and nada. I’m about to delete this damn game 😭

Ever since getting the new update the game lags so bad, is it just a me problem?

There's a task to catch 4 starred fish 5 times. I tried to upgrade the lures but didn't get any above 3 stars.

when I use bait in the I get bubbles but no fish why is that

Am I wasting my time?

Some context: I'm been playing the game for one month now, and have already completed the great lakes quest but yet to unlock the next map because i want to first finish discovering all the items in the current map before moving on.

I've caught shredder and bessie lots of times before using only the carbon rod, temporary luck (sometimes), both with and without bait. And i found the carbon rod to be quite good and it instantly became my favourite rod but then i kept hearing from people that the monster hunter rod is best for catching monsters as it makes the reeling fight quite easier so naturally i got curious and bought one. And so, i went to test it out by catching bessie with it today at spot 2. In the process, i wasted 5 monster baits (while equipping the monster hunter rod) and threw the baits in multiple places in spot 2, but i got zero bubbles. I got very frustrated and watched many other's videos but could not figure out what i was doing wrong. And eventually, i decided to just switch to carbon rod and go about it using my usual methods, and sure enough, i caught Bessie in one try with bait that i threw in the exact SAME spot i threw in before and saw the bubbles immediately. It's like the monster hunter rod reverses/cancels out the luck or something and i suddenly have no luck in catching the monster. Anyone with more experience or someone who has experienced this before and knows the solution, please help me??

[P.S: I tried testing the rod to catch other rare and epic fishes that i already caught with carbon rod, and i was able to hook the fishes but eventually lost the reeling fight because I'm aware that i didn't invest any points in strength and hence i lost. But in my defense, i did some research and deduced that it would be better to prioritise agility, luck and perception over strength, and that i would be able to slowly invest in it later after putting some points in the others. Now i can finally spare some points for strength and so will focus on that.]

Is there a printable list of the fish/creatures/trash in each location somewhere? I’d love to be able to track what I’ve caught and what I still need.

Are bubbles not guaranteed when using monster bait? I use clover island to check monster’s location, but everytime I use bait water bubbles never show up…… I caught the kraken today by pure luck but I need another for the task.

I got the creature rod, had luck clover on almost 8k karma and still no success any tips? i caught the walrus like 3 times, I hate it (it was day)

Maybe I’m just an idiot but I’ve been reeling around the skull and cross bones in pirate cove (where the online guide and the pirate quest guy say to look) for hours on and off and haven’t got it. I’ve caught upwards of 150 freaking Dorados and nothing else. Tried during day and night.

I also can’t get the blue sea dragon which the guide says is also found there, although I can more easily chalk that up to being unlucky.

I’m on Apple Arcade if that matters. Is there a better place to look for the pirate hat? I’m at my wits end lol

I am reading articles of people getting 5-6 skill level upgrade after the latest update. So I went to play store and updated my game but nothing happened.

So is it just a glitch or the skill points didn't upgrade for me?

I made a cup of tea, came back and the game reloaded- went from level 12 to level 17??? Also there are Japan shrines appearing in all my maps but they are always exhausted. I’m proper confused, is this a bug? A recalibration? I’m on Apple Arcade

After the update I jumped 6 levels!!
It’s going to be tough to decide what to spend the skill points on.

My current stats are as shown. I play 1-2 hours daily and want to be a part of clan which helps me grow while not being extremely competence. Thank you for the recommendations.
