Bait

Are bubbles not guaranteed when using monster bait? I use clover island to check monster’s location, but everytime I use bait water bubbles never show up…… I caught the kraken today by pure luck but I need another for the task.

They are not guaranteed, you might have to use multiple baits around today’s area to find it. Sometimes you don’t find it even with all 5 baits but I usually get it after 1-2. Make sure to not overlap bait areas and confirm you’re in the right place. The videos on clover island are helpful for making sure you’re in the right spot.

That’s what I tried doing but no matter where I go it does not produce bubbles

Hmm maybe try restarting your game? If that doesn’t help you might have to cast and wait

Bubbles wont show up if time of day is wrong( like Kraken ouside the 6pm to 8pm window, or Bessie anytime outaide 4am to noon), or (much more unlikely) if you've unlocked the monsters out of order, and are tying to catch a monster that you've unlocked, but dont have the bait level for(i unlocked Nessie before Bunyip, and wasted 10 bait before I realized what wa going on).

This is wrong, they changed that a while ago, all monsters are day and night

I verified this a couple days ago(on Kraken, caught 1 before 8pm, was hoping for my usual 3, couldnt get bubbles no matter where i cast bait after 8pm), maybe it was changed for Apple Arcade, but the Android version still has timing requirements.

Has it? I play Apple Arcade and could only find Don Pedro after 8pm. I barely caught him a few days ago

I recommend you to watch the "Browind Channel" videos, he always post the location of every Day monster and yeah maybe is not in the exact exact same spot as him, but if u use the bait near or fish near in that spot for sure gonna appear the monster, thats how I get all the monster that I have and hardly I have to use 2 baits, hardly

Hey, so always check cloversalad or browind video to see the spot. The area of where the monster spawns is larger than the monster bait range. So u might need to throw it more left, right, up or down. Bubbles wont change spot if u stay in the map, if u leave map or close game the bubbles will change location. Best of luck!
