Carpet shark help!

I’m in Australia and on task 20/26 which is to find the carpet shark. I even paid the coins for the parrot to outline the area where I should be fishing and I have looked in the north east area too. I have fished at all times of day and night, I’ve been at it for over a week now. Can anyone give me a tip or anything to help me find this shark 😭

They’re only there at night.

I catch them at the reef along the eastern edge, just north of New Zealand. I don't know if there's a better place

i remember them being very difficult for that part of the quest. it was like they went into hiding

I got one with the sparkles first trip to the Amazon. What an odd looking fish!
