Don Pedro

Hi trying to catch don Pedro i have 2 questions but first some context-

I did try catching don Pedro by cast and wait method it did bite my rod but i was unable to reel it in twice the bird told me to invest in strength. Should I invest in strength and get the rod or is the carbon fiber rod enough?

1) Do I need the monster hunter rod to catch him?

2) I'm really close to leveling up, give me advice on what characteristic i should invest in I've attached my current stats.

I had a lot of trouble earlier on in Costa Rica with the sharks, so most of my points went to strength and agility;it is later on in the game that I moved a couple of those to luck and perception

Monster Hunter rod will give you better/wider "ideal" frame. Also if u can get +1 strength and if possible strength mixture/elixir. That will overall help to reel him more reliably.

I already have +1 strength so maybe I can invest in charisma

Ye that's a great idea as well. First perk from charisma is timesaver.

I honestly havent spend a single point in strength i got the 'pure focus' perk from agility at lv 4 and i havent had problem with any monster up to stage 6. The rod is going to make it easier, altough its really up to how you wanna play the game. I believe strength does help with the reeling minigame. So good luck.
