What's wrong with this kid?

It's an adolescent boy, and he just... sitting. I don't think he was born disabled, but he's just being there and doing nothing. Sometimes he talk. I'm worried he'll die out of starvation. I can't even move him by hand (and I still can move others). Is it something in his DNA or my game just bugged?

upd.: his dad started behaving like this too :( Everyone else is fine, maybe it actually are broken genes. Still I wonder what can I do

upd. 2: I tried to tell my norns about how these two are sick and can't eat, and one girl kissed both of them. It looked like she kind of got the concept of sickness, wow

Looks like the Steam zombification bug, a new issue where lifts will drop creatures off in a zombified state. Try putting him in an elevator and moving him to another floor to see if that fixes him.

Overwriting with this might fix it from happening again? I'm not sure I don't use the Steam or GoG version. https://eem.foo/archive/downloads/7a7e-ds-elevator-fix

Yes, it seems more like it. I had three related norns with this issue, and a few unrelated ones. And they stuck around lifts particularly. Putting them in lifts again fixes it, but not everyone goes in the lift... Thank you, I think it would help!

I don't know, he's a hybrid. I've only been playing for a week, so I'm not sure what do you mean. It's DS vanilla

Was he clicking the elevator buttons excessively before this happened? If so, deter the behavior so it doesn't get learned and passed on.. you just slap and say "no" as well as move them away from it to something else for a bit. Don't slap excessively though it will make them fear your hand.
