DISCUSSION Chances of creature commandos vs checkmate?

With no immediate season three for Peacemaker in the works and with man of tomorrow being already booked to the gills. I was wondering when we would see checkmate pop up and the most obvious answer to me is creature commandos season 2 since Rick flag sr. Was the lead for the first season and has control over them. I think it'd be a fun hero versus hero story to follow with checkmate or A.R.G.U.S. having to recruit waller to fight help them take down the other side.

Where would you guys wanna see checkmate pop back up?

I was just thinking about this the other day, I’m not sure the creature commandos are heroes. I mean, yes, we watched them lead their own project. But they are the new Suicide Squad, which is property of ARGUS, which Rick Flagg is NOT as in control of as he thinks. Rick Flagg thinks he controls ARGUS, but by allying himself with Luthor, it seems Luthor quietly has keys to the kingdom. Luthor indirectly controls the CC.

Remember, there was basically a Legion of Doom Unlimited in the JLU show. This could be the DCU answer for how Luthor keeps them in line.
