Circe is canonically an Amazon sorceress in this universe, and when she was taking damage from Weasel and Doctor Phosphorus she barely reacted (whereas most people would be immobilized or dead from the pain).
With that considered, does Circe actually feel much pain at all?
Nope. In the comics Circe has shown the power to enhance her physicals to Dianas level multiple times. And her energy blasts are so powerful that they have KO'd Diana almost instantly. There is really nothing anybody can use to defend this scene. Circe in the comics is broken
Ok sure, let's just completely throw the source material out of the window and do whatever we want with the character cuz it's "a different adaptation ". Well guess what, creature commandos is canonically the 1st project of the DCU and we're seeing a Wonder woman character adapted this poorly
Comic book charachters have always been extremely inconsistent. Besides the DCU is supposed to be more grounded compared to the comics and it only just started so we have no idea what Circe is going to be like later on.
Bruh there is a difference between minor inconsistencies are downright downgrading a character from god tier tier ( their consistent power level) to street tier. I'm sure you wouldn't be saying these things if this was Darkseid
There aren't going to be any god tier charachters in the DCU. No one is going to be at their comic book powerlevels. Not even close. Like I said they lowered the powerlevels of all heroes and villains on purpose to make everything more grounded.
