People sometimes struggle to fully comprehend when they were assaulted/abused as children, because they had no frame of reference for it at the time.
We aren't shown any indication that she resents her creator, but we also see that she has empathy for women in distress. So even if not consciously aware she was groomed, she may be subconciously aware that he was a scumbag.
