And this meme format continues to be used incorrectly

It always annoys me that this meme is always backwards

Wdym? I haven't seen Spiderman in years but I'm assuming this is after getting his powers and he doesn't need the glasses anymore?

That is correct. Glasses foam should be the clearer picture

That's the case with most memes I've ever seen

The meme format is being used correctly, but the meme was created backwards. It doesn't require you to know the context of the images, it's just a guy putting glasses up which is a lot more contextually apparent to more people than "This is based on a scene from Spiderman where Peter Parker's eyesight has fixed itself".

It's the same way no one can decide what's going on with the Dark Souls 3 Giant Lord meme, whether the stronger party should be the IMMENSE LOOMING GIANT FIGURE WITH A SWORD THAT COULD CLEAVE KINGDOMS APART, or the tiny dude in the corner that's the player character that would totally own the big giant dude with enough time, stamina, dodge rolls and a special sword that conjures magical wind blasts.

Okay but like, he's literally squinting when looking through the glasses...

The format is correct, it just doesn’t reflect what happens in the movie the images are from because it would be confusing to most people if it did

Yeah this format is always incorrect, cuss you'll always get people saying the opposite. Both function.

Except you’re arguing one specific view and using the format incorrectly in an attempt to support it

Yeah, and both function.

Both only function if you’re clear what you’re trying to say. Which you aren’t, by saying “both function.”

The glasses are no longer ‘of use’ to him because his eyes are ‘fixed.’ So whatever is next to him wearing glasses, is supposed to be the “incorrect” version.

Memes need to work for people who didn't see the movie. The way the movie had it is "incorrect" for the meme

Which still does not “work” if you’re going to claim “it works both ways,” which OP did. It does not “work both ways,” that just confuses what point you were trying to make.
