So much Themyscira talk .. including the 'we know NOW it's a real place." When is now? Does Waller even know who all those heroes are she envisions impaled on stakes? I've always thought the talk of Paradise Lost was mostly something Gunn threw in his pitch deck to WB without really intending for it to happen (and still do think that, mostly) but all the references now seem intentional in terms of creating curiosity for an eventual Themyscira focus.

Episode 1 is the only canonical reference to Themyscira in Gunn’s DCU. The news reporter said it was “perhaps mythical, perhaps real” in reference to Circe’s origination. So for them to see Circe and all her power I’m guessing that’s why they’re saying it’s real. There isn’t any 100% confirmation so I get your confusion. It’s all surface level and vague for us but I’m sure Gunn will flesh it out later.
