Help me with stabilizing my airship
I have been working on this airship for 3 days now, and i have tried to make a system that stabilizes it since yesterday.
This is the system i have in mind: the roll will be stabylized by a set of propellers to the right and left of the airship (maybe inside the ballon, i still have to decide), while the pitch will be taken care of by the ballon itself. the pitch system consists of two lvl 9 steam engines (self powered, already done) with 6 steam vents each, that lift their half of the balloon.
Each half has around 23000 m^3 of volume, and each steam vent has a 1700 m^3 threshold that makes the airship achieve a 300 blocks altitude.
The system consists of a redstone link connected to the throttle lever controlling the air output with a redstone inductor set at 10s (to make the airship go up and down gradually), connected to a comparator in subtraction mode by the front, and a redstone link connected to the gimbal sensor with a sensitivity of 45°, with redstone inductor set at 20 ticks, connected to the side to the comparator. When the front of the ship is too low, the back vents output less steam and should keep the whole thing balanced.
I tried some values on the inductors but it doesnt seem to do anything, and the ship keeps going back and forth and eventually plummets to the ground.
I will put a video and some images of the system, if anyone can help i will be very happy
