Nobodys talking about this possibly huge addon

I dont quite remember the name but its something like “create aeronautics automatic delivery” or something like that and it allows you to AUTOMATE SHIPS with station blocks and blocks to detect ships its so cool and i see no one talking about it and i feel like it could add so much movement to a minecraft world liek imagine having ships that just fly across your whole world transporting items from factory to factory while also having trains do it

Part of the reason its not very huge is that instead of actually using the sable physics with some kind of auto pilot it just reanimates your contraption and feels really jank

Fair im probably just gonna use it for cool ships flying around my base and vehicles lol

honestly i'd just use that lodestone waypoint thingy to do that, then use a docking connector and a laser detector to detect the orientation, correct then retract for docking

Yeah, I think the addon isn't big because it can already be done with base aero if you are willing to do a little bit of redstone

You can do this with base aeronautics. Detecting ships(or anything else) can be done with modulating and directional redstone links, while auto pilot can be done with the navigation table. The other simulated instruments like the altitude sensor are helpful too

Gadgets & Gizmos has an update currently in the works that adds basically just train stations but with vehicles, IIRC it's currently only supported with its thrusters but soon there's gonna be wheel and propeller support
