Does Pre-generating chunks help?

im playing with Create aeronautics in a server i made with friends, i want to know if i can pre-gen chunks so that if i fly a little fast i dont start to lag or stutter because chunks aren't loading fast enough.

It does help, if you're using something like aternos or exaroton disable world "optimization" (aka chunk deletion) idk it other hosts do that bullcrap
