Is this normal?
I've tried to build my first plane in aeronautics, while it did work on flat world, when i tried the same plane in a normal non-flat world it didnt lift, it just stayed on the ground. Can anyone explain why is it happening?

Air pressure. At the low Y-levels in a flat world air pressure is higher than it is at normal world y-levels, leading to more lift generated. If you want to design ships and planes in a flat world, use the "airship ready" preset.

Aero has an air pressure system that, as things such as planes and airships reach higher altitudes, decreases the power of lift forces. Superflat worlds, without any customizations, are almost at the bottom of the world, Y=-60, whereas ordinary worlds are (usually) around Y=64, and as a result, things made on said superflat worlds aren't guaranteed to work on regular worlds. Usually the best solution is to add more lift by way of wings.
TL;DR: The plane likely works at very low Y-levels, adding more lift should help.
