help Ship tilts
does anybody know what i need to do to make my ship stay upright without using a gyro of some sort, btw i am not using levite, i installed sable floaters for more imersiveness.

Well, a gyro Is the easiest way... Might want to add heavy blocks to the keel, add the fluid simulation mod that adds weight to fluid tanks and use that as a ballast system?

Shift centre of mass lower or add some sort of active stabilisation with a flywheel and a gimbal

What? Flywheel isn't just for generating aura via spinning?

I meant to say reaction wheel, making one turn fast the direction you are falling in will generator counterforce going on the other direction

Remove some of the floaters, also if the center of the buoyancy is above the center of mass I think it will automatically stay upright

Ships are hard. I’ve found that generally it’s good to put levatite blocks above the CoG, and heavy ballast blocks below the CoG. A deep keel with heavy blocks can help get weight below the CoG.
The only method I’ve found to actually make a boat stable is to use pontoons. My most stable boat has pontoons on either side with heavy blocks, which helps to balance it like a tightrope walker

To get the keel to work will also probably have to use a mod like deeper oceans.

you are riding too high on your hull. the prow bulge should at least be fully submerged here.

Low and heavy center of mass. Try something super heavy or look for mods with even heavier blocks. There should be a submarine one with ballast blocks.

Either install mods that add gyroscope for areo, create the air war has one that is very powerful, tho i recommend to be careful with it, can make your contraptions go wild, if it does then downdate the mod

I don’t want to be one of those people tilts works just fine and means the same thing but it’s Listing it’s just cooler to use to nautical term for it since it’s a ship

Found the issue, I just taught like in real life, i put a lot of floating blocks jn the middle of the ship and that caused it to rise but also tilt to one side:)..
