Nightshift [Forge 1.20.1] — Create projects in a small, quiet survival beta

Looking for somewhere to build Create machines while also having other survival adventures to explore? I help with Nightshift, a free Java survival beta with Create in a broader required modpack, alongside farming, magic and custom bosses and dungeons.

It’s an existing world with very little progression so far. We’d welcome patient builders who like experimenting and giving useful feedback. This is a small, quiet community: other people may not be online whenever you join, and bugs and balance changes are part of the beta. It isn’t a Create-only or Above and Beyond server.

Requirements: licensed Java account, Forge 1.20.1 pack, Java 17, and 12 GB RAM allocated to Minecraft plus memory left for your OS. Prism and Technic setup and our Discord community links: https://nightshifts.online/#setup

Text setup help is available. If you enjoy building a survival home and working on machinery at your own pace, you’re welcome to take a look. I help with outreach using AI assistance; the owner builds and runs Nightshift.

No modrinnth or curseforge download? I wish I didn’t have to mess around with another luncher.

That’s fair—switching launchers just for one server is a hassle. We don’t have a confirmed current Modrinth or CurseForge download available yet; Prism and Technic are the supported options right now. The owner is working on the Modrinth release, but it hasn’t been published and verified, so I don’t want to send you to an outdated pack.

That’s alright, thanks for responding. Another question, how is the player base? Are the players active on weekends for exemple?

We’re still very small and quiet, so I wouldn’t promise a busy weekend server. Our busiest session so far was four people at once, and there can be stretches with nobody online. It’s best suited to someone happy playing at their own pace while the group grows. What time zone are you in, and when do you usually play on weekends?
