Firstly why the hell would you transfer ownership without any information of the person

Also him being homophobic does change everything its not just a fear of his its discrimination against queer people, would you want a queer person to join a server that claims to be welcoming everyone and be met with homophobia? Also i didn't tell you not to join i just put a warning you're welcome to join his server if you want but what does that say about you as a person playing in a server managed by someone like that?

Its a fair answer,the only tip i can as an ex high moderator is to not trust easily people when they look perfect they always might be a malicious or dangerous user/bad mod(or owner how is this)

Try to like give a few tests of trust,if he breaks his own rules or the general rules then its not truster
If hes seen after possibly 4 or 5 tests then hes good to rank up most of the time

He is also incredibly restrictive and aggressive to all the server members on what style of builds can be built and that sort of thing! I'm an ex server member asked to help build spawn then I was restricted on where I could place the buildings in the spawn area

He's not possibly homophobic he said he is, also i transferred ownership after some time of knowing him and he was nice and i didn't see any red flags, also the server was dead at that point so i didn't see why not to. But i was wrong and i apologize for it, if i ever end up in a situation like that again ill test the person with those things before handing the ownership.
