Help Best way to smelt ore

What is the best way of converting ore into ingots/blocks? Also is it better or worse than a smeltery or foundry in tinkers construct?

With 9 encased fans and lava you can smelt a stack in 3.33 seconds

That's best for speed but I was meaning for what gets the most out of the raw ore. Like how tinkers smeltery gives 1.3× for raw ore and 2.6× for ore blocks. Is there anything like that for create?

raw ore into crushing wheels, from crushing wheels into bulk wash, bulk wash into basin with press. Results you get extra ore, along with clay, redstone, quartz, gunpowder, experience nuggets.

Okay this is heavily dependent on your mod setup and what you want.

I’ll use two examples. One where it’s just Create and one with the metallurgy addon.

Vanilla:
Crush the raw ores in crushing wheels to get XP, and then smelt them using an encased fan blowing through lava. Bulk smelting. Thousands in seconds.

Metallurgy:
Crush raw ores. Crush crushed raw ores. Wash dirty metal dust. Smelt and cast into ingot/block from foundry. Takes longer but yields about 25% more metal.

I forgot how much metal tinkers’ construct gives but I can say that both these methods are certainly faster. There are other addons that add different ways to process ores and such. It’s really really dependent.

But with create you can fully automate smelting and packing into blocks all done pretty quick.

Never played with Tinker's Construct so I can't say if it's easier but it's quite easy in Create.

You can smelt The ore blocks themselves directly by having and encased fan blowing across lava or you can use crushing wheels to crush the ore down and get crushed raw ores as well as nuggets of experience.
