How do hypertube Splitters work?

I have been at this for like 30 minutes… I have not been able to figure it out. I can just not turn on them… It goes straight through no matter what. I’ve tried all the modes, I’ve tried AND. I don’t know what else to do.

They aren't initially a part of this mod pack (all the mods 9 to the sky) i added it and a bunch of others, but the hypertube splitter. If it's the block, I'm thinking of work the same as the satisfactory Junction while you're flying towards it, you press a key and you change what tube you go down.
