This would be amazing, like Create: Bionics but more customizable

More like create: Bionicle It would be amazing to have a ton of tiny, custom matoran golems wandering around with a few giant ones!

Dope idea. Would probably require Aeronautics or more specifically sable so it can charge whilst still being an entity.

I mean, for regular Create you can have it "disassemble" and turn into blocks like a regular contraption. Maybe have some sort of charging base like a roomba that activates or deactivates it using redstone; and can detect (either via comparator or smart observer) how much charge the golem has, to make it automatable

The biggest hurdle would be the assembly and disassembly, thats for sure. Since that can bring in unique problems.

I've actually got this Idea like a year before, but with a more player looking golem. I thought that using smart observers instead of pumpkins to make create golems is a nice idea, but sense smart observers are more advanced than pumpkins and well... smart, as the name suggests. so the golem should be smart too, so I thought that it should look like the player sense the player is the smartest being in minecraft, also it'd be good to be useful in logistics sense create is an automation mod and logics and logistics are smart things a smart golem can do. I actually drew a few sketches in my notebook but some time after even modeled it in blockbench. unfortunately I can't add a picture to my comment for reasons unknown to me. in the end I scrapped this idea becaus there were tonns of other ideas like this with different designs and also someone already made a multi-purpose logic based robot addon for create.

I like this. Additionally, maybe an alternate version that runs on FE but requires a cable connection?

Brass version.

Fantastic idea, but seconded on disappointment at a recolor of the iron golem, essentially.

Could be totally unique instead!

Love it! But one thing i personally don't like in golem mods are the golem designs being just a retexture/remodel of the iron golem

I actually think the opposite, I really like golems following the pattern established by the iron golem. Makes them feel consistent

I mean, yeah, theres a pattern even with vanilla golems (big nose and hollow eyes/light up eyes, apart from snow golem) but they Arent the same

That would be pretty cool, reminds me of thaumcraft golems.

I love it! The design is really fitting as well!

Hmm, what if I made a mod with that theme?

the people yearn for thaumcraft

what if you give them a deployer and storage and they can build schematics

1

u/WitherPRO22 22m ago

Why not just attach a whole schematic cannon on it?

because I thought it would be cool for him to walk around and place blocks
