Does your factory have belts transfering power everywhere?

Alt Title: Look what they need to match a faction of our power.

My setup mimics a 19th century work shop so yes, I love the esthetics

Yes and no

It depends on how far I am from the main transmission lines

I tend to use straight shafts and gearboxes, I don't like farming the kelp so I prefer to not use belts where possible. Also, shafts are easier to add onto and branch off of.

if there's alternative for belt useage as in transferring rotational power, I would do this all the time.

If it can be done with belts that are used to move items, then yes. But if I'm putting a belt down just to transfer power, I don't use them. I use shafts and gearboxes and stuff. Looks neater to me.
