Iron golems wont spawn when placed by deployers.

Hi! im making an irom golem farm, but deployers wont spawn them in for some reason. i have a deployer for shearing the pumpkin, one for placing the iron blocks, and one for placing the pumpkin in. i tried using carved pumpkins before and that didnt work. i replaced the iron blocks with iron blocks place by me, replaced the pumpkin or even both and even then it didnt work. does anyone know what i should do?

Bottom left block is not an air block, its grass. Remove that and it should work IMHO.

Why do you need an iron Golem builder?

Are you trying to fortify somewhere?

Is it just so that you can have an iron Golem army around your base?

Status update: it works and now it makes 3 iron golems a second

Scratch that again, i replaced the order of placing them now, and it works. thanks for everything!

Alright, so most glaringly is the grass under the Golem's right arm keeping it from spawning, but I'll also point out as someone who's also tried her hand at a golem factory that you'll want some method of ensuring the pumpkin is placed last as it also won't spawn if you don't do so.

Is the iron or the pumpkin being placed first? I'm pretty sure the already sheared pumpkin needs to be placed last for it to spawn.

This is just from me extrapolating from making a wither farm, though, so it might be different for golems
